Conference travel to Austria

From April 02 - 07 I participated in the General Assembly of the European Geoscience Union EGU, a huge conference on Earth and Space science. Several thousands of scientists from Europe, the United States and other countries in the world came to Vienna. The meeting took place in the Austria Center in Vienna. Nearly all of the time I was either in the conference center or during dinner for "job talks" in restaurants. On Friday, the last day, I could have a bit a look around in the town and also in the Natural Historic Museum. Fortunately it was a sunny spring day with blue sky.
